Farmhouse Dining Table & Bench

This table started out as a dream for a client, something new for her new home. The farmhouse-style table top is made from reclaimed old-growth fir. The frame elevates the design with curved wings that blend into tapered legs, and mortise-and-tenon joinery holds it all together. Each section of the build takes time and close attention to detail. The matching bench continues the design, using cross-lap joinery in the legs.

The project spanned about two wintery months. It was a labor of love and a reminder that all good things take time.
